Bubblybub

Growing young minds through water-play, Bubblybub develops parent understanding of what they can to do provide increased learning and developmental opportunities during a child’s bath, shower and swim time: Bubblybub.

Baby Sensory

You and your baby will experience different sensory activities designed to support your baby’s sensory development every week. Held in Ngaio and Island Bay. More information here: Babysensory.

GymbaROO

Best for ages From 0 to 7 years. An instructor led gym class. BabyRoo classes help develop infants sensory stimulation through gentle movement, music, massage, tummy-time and dance. Grubby Gators

A place to bring your babies and toddlers, where they can explore different textures, gloops and goos, in a relaxed, friendly environment. Grubby Gator’s offers sensory stimulation experiences for young minds, while also helping to develop strength and fine motor co-ordination in curious little fingers. SPACE

SPACE (Supporting Parents Alongside Children’s Education) is a programme for first time parents with young babies hosted in playcentres.It aims to promote the value of parenthood and offers ongoing support for new families.  Sessions are 2 1/2 hours long and include: opportunities for parents to meet and get to know one another; discussions and information sharing on relevant child development and parenting topics; an introduction to rhymes, music, and books for infants; and play sessions with age-appropriate equipment that supports infants’ learning and development. SPACE sessions are run by qualified facilitators, along with other professionals who come together to share their collective knowledge and experience. TALKING HANDS

Run by Molly Kelly, who is a certified teacher (through Signing Time Academy). Molly is available for workshops anywhere in Wellington with incentives for the workshop host.  Cost is $10/person (minimum 4 people).  Workshops run for 1 hour and you get to choose 2 out of a possible 16 topics.  Email talkinghandsnz@gmail.com .
